1. Who we are
This site is operated by Innate Fitness LLC ("Coach Araza," "we," "us," or "our"). We're a personal training and coaching business based in Wilmington, Delaware. You can reach us at andrew@coachedbyaraza.com or (805) 698-9917.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, contact us, book a session, subscribe to our newsletter, or work with us as a client — and what we do with that information.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly
When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, subject line, and the message you send. When you book an introductory call through Cal.com, you provide your name, email, and chosen time. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.
When you become a client, we collect additional information needed to provide coaching — typically including phone number, physical health history relevant to training, and emergency contact information. This information is gathered with your consent during onboarding.
If you email us or leave a voicemail, we keep that correspondence as part of our normal business records.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, our hosting provider (WP Engine) logs standard information about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit. This information helps us keep the site running smoothly and detect technical issues.
We use only essential cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not currently use third-party advertising or behavioral tracking cookies. If we add analytics or tracking tools in the future, we'll update this policy.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to your inquiries and requests
- Schedule and conduct coaching sessions
- Send you our newsletter, if you've subscribed (you can unsubscribe at any time)
- Improve our website and services
- Comply with legal obligations
We don't use your information for any purpose that isn't directly tied to providing the coaching services you've asked for, or essential to operating our business.
4. How we share your information
We don't sell your information to anyone. We share information only with the third-party services we use to operate the business, and only as needed for them to perform their function:
- Cal.com — handles booking for our introductory calls. When you book a call, Cal.com collects and stores your name, email, and scheduled time.
- WP Engine — hosts our website. Standard server logs and any content stored on the site, including form submissions, are processed by WP Engine.
- Formidable Forms — processes our contact form. Submissions are stored on our own WordPress site.
- Mailchimp — handles our newsletter, if you've subscribed. Mailchimp stores your email address and any preferences you provide. You can unsubscribe at any time through any newsletter email.
- Google Workspace — our business email provider. If you email us, your message is stored in our email system.
We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our business, our clients, or others.
5. Cookies
Our site uses essential cookies needed for WordPress to function — for example, to keep form submissions working correctly. We do not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. You can manage cookies through your browser settings; instructions are available in your browser's help documentation.
6. Children's privacy
Our website is intended for adults. We offer youth training services for athletes aged 11–18, but all initial inquiries about youth training should come from a parent or legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through our website without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information to us, please contact us at andrew@coachedbyaraza.com and we will delete it.
7. Data retention
We keep the information you provide for as long as we have an ongoing business relationship with you and for a reasonable period afterward, in case you want to come back. If you ask us to delete your information, we will — except where we're required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
Newsletter subscribers remain on our list until you unsubscribe. Inquiries that don't lead to an ongoing relationship are typically kept for one year and then deleted.
8. Your rights
You can:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct any inaccurate information
- Delete your information, subject to legal requirements
- Unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time
- Withdraw consent for any optional data processing
If you're a resident of California, the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights, you may have additional rights under those laws. Contact us with any request and we'll respond as required by the applicable law.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us, including using a reputable hosting provider, secure connections (HTTPS) on our website, and standard precautions for the email and storage systems we use. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we'll post a notice on the website or contact you directly where appropriate.
