Accessibility Statement.

Effective May 1, 2026 · Last updated May 1, 2026

1. Our commitment

Coach Araza is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to find information about training, read what clients have to say, and reach out to us — regardless of how they navigate the web.

We're a small business, not a large institution. We approach accessibility the same way we approach everything else: with care, attention, and the honest acknowledgment that we're always improving.

2. Standards we follow

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, the standard most widely recognized for accessible web content. WCAG 2.1 AA covers a wide range of recommendations for making content perceivable, operable, understandable, and robust for users with disabilities.

3. What we've done

Specific steps we've taken to make this site accessible include:

  • Using semantic HTML so screen readers can navigate the structure of each page
  • Providing alt text on photos so the content is described for non-visual users
  • Maintaining a clear heading hierarchy on every page (one H1, organized H2 and H3 subheadings)
  • Using sufficient color contrast between body text and backgrounds, meeting WCAG AA contrast ratios for primary content
  • Ensuring forms have proper labels tied to each input field
  • Making sure menus, dropdowns, and toggles are usable with keyboard navigation (no mouse required)
  • Providing visible focus states on links, buttons, and form controls so keyboard users can see where they are on the page
  • Using ARIA attributes where appropriate to communicate the state of interactive elements to assistive technologies

4. Known limitations

We're honest about the fact that no website is perfectly accessible, and ours is a work in progress. Current known limitations include:

  • The homepage contains a scrolling text band (a "marquee") that may be distracting for users with motion sensitivities. We're working on a reduced-motion option that respects the user's system preferences.
  • Some decorative typography and secondary captions may not meet the strictest contrast ratios at every viewport size.
  • We don't currently host video content. If we add video in the future, we'll provide captions and transcripts.
  • Third-party tools embedded on our site (such as the booking calendar and contact form) follow their own accessibility standards, which we don't directly control.

We're actively working on these areas and welcome feedback on others.

5. Feedback and reporting issues

If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website, please let us know. We take this seriously and want to fix it.

When you reach out, please describe the issue and the page where you encountered it. We'll respond within five business days and work to address the problem as quickly as we can.
